Special Paws: Forever Home
Available on Amazon in English
A chance meeting at the dog park brings together Boston and Harper, both terrier/pit mixes. Harper helps Boston understand what it means to be a foster family to a rescue dog and Boston gives Harper a glimpse of her home through a virtual visit on her tablet. Their friendship grows when they realize they have lots in common!
Boston is the author's (Tracey) first dog. In 2016, she and her son went to a shelter and meeting with several other dogs, Boston trotted into the room. With brown ears and a tail made for wagging, they knew that had found their match.
Hunter is Robyn's (a friend of Tracey) dog. Hunter's story is similar to that of Boston's, coming from an animal shelter, not knowing who his next family would be. But Robyn, along with her husband Chuck, went out of their way to make Hunter a part of the family, and the love has lasted ever since.
Harper is the second dog that Tracey adopted. With endless energy and a tongue made for licking, Harper quickly became the annoying little sister in the family. Nevertheless, despite barking a lot and on occasion eating all of Boston's food, it seems these two ladies have become quite good friends.
