A Translation Readiness Audit is a structured evaluation of your existing Spanish-language materials to determine their quality, consistency, and suitability for continued use or expansion. We review current content to identify risks, gaps, and inconsistencies in accuracy, tone, and terminology. The goal is to give you a clear picture of what’s working, what isn’t, and where to focus your efforts. This audit provides practical insight you can use to plan next steps with confidence.
A Translation Readiness Audit is not a translation or localization service, and it does not involve rewriting or creating new content. Instead, we focus exclusively on reviewing Spanish content you already have to help you avoid costly mistakes before investing further.
A Translation Readiness Audit is typically for companies who have simple materials translated but don't know whether it's correct or consistent. These companies are usually wanting to expand their language capacities.

As part of the Translation Readiness Audit, we review up to five existing Spanish-language assets, with a combined maximum of 7,500 words. This review is strictly evaluative and does not include translating, rewriting, or editing content. The goal is to assess the quality and suitability of the Spanish materials you already have, not to create new translations.

Following the asset review, you’ll receive a detailed written report outlining our findings. We evaluate each asset for accuracy, consistency, and tone, with attention to how well the content aligns with its intended purpose and audience. The report highlights patterns and issues across materials, not just isolated errors.

Most Translation Readiness Audits are completed within one week, depending on asset complexity and volume. At the end of the audit, we provide clear, actionable recommendations outlining what to fix, what to prioritize, and what can be addressed later. These recommendations are designed to help your team move forward efficiently, whether you plan to update existing Spanish content or expand into new materials.

If you choose to move forward with Spanish With A Gringo® to implement the recommended improvements, we apply credits toward future translation or localization services. Credits can be applied toward services such as Spanish Foundation work or Translation Expansion projects. Our goal is to make it easy to transition from evaluation to execution without starting over.
